Are Ukraine's Giant Flamingo Missiles Finally Working As Advertised?

There have been two recent successful strikes

Months behind schedule, Ukraine’s giant Flamingo cruise missiles are finally working as advertised.

Just not very often.

On Feb. 12, at least one of the six-ton cruise missiles struck an arsenal in Kotluban, in southern Russia 300 miles from the front line. The missile’s 2,500-pound warhead apparently destroyed a large munitions storage bunker.

Eight days later, another Flamingo hit a missile factory in Votkinsk, in central Russia 800 miles from the front. A fire raged through the night, possibly consuming a workshop on the Votkinsk campus. (See videos at top and below.)

The twin strikes should somewhat reassure skeptics, including myself, who wondered aloud when Ukrainian missile and drone firm Fire Point would begin to deliver on its big promises when it first revealed the FP-5 Flamingo back in August.
