No Time To Flee! 100 Russians Were Killed Or Wounded As Big Boom Drones Blasted Their Base.
Ukraine is deploying one-way drones while it awaits new glide bombs.
Ukraine is still struggling to acquire enough precision glide bombs to sustain a campaign of deep strikes on hardened targets in occupied Ukraine. A new locally made glide bomb could change that—but it’s unclear how soon.
In the meantime, Ukrainian forces are substituting big boom one-way attack drones for glide bombs. Munition for munition, the hardest-hitting drone isn’t nearly as powerful as even the smallest 550-pound glide bomb. But the Ukrainians can make up the difference by sortieing a whole lot of drones at the same time.
Look what happened in Shchaslyvtseve, in Russian-occupied Kherson Oblast around 80 miles from the disputed gray zone. A barrage of one-way attack drones blasted a clutch of nine buildings serving as a base for the Russian federal security service—the FSB.
