Its a shame that the excess A10/warthogs throughout NATO are not being used at this stage. They are explicitly designed for anti tank warfare. But I read they are so old that they cannot sustain against current radars and anti aircraft technology....
Arguably, their best use could be behind the front lines shooting down shaheed drones.
Yes, they would make light work of Russian tanks but Manpads would quickly turn them into flaming candles. The frog foot may not have been the most sophisticated Russian equivalent but as far as I know, that plane simply doesn’t fly anywhere near the front lines anymore.
