Brutal framing but accurate. The scapegoating dynamic here is textbook command failure where leadership blames frontline units for problems created upstream. Territorial brigades holding ground for months with minimal rotation while assault units get the resources but aren't expected to dig in is basically setting up territorials to fail and then pointing fingers when they do. Reminds me alot of how certain Coalition units got blamed for Iraqi sectarian violence in 2006 when the real issue was strategic mismatch between resources and mission scope.
