Not sure I see your logic in this piece. You did state the territorials were attacking with better trained assault troops. If true then I would see this tactic as unfortunate but certainly necessary. Your analysis of the front line situation would indicate it is essential that hard decisions are in order, territorial commanders not withstanding.

Under-trained territorial troops are worse than useless on the attack for Ukraine. They have a higher chance of dying. And Ukraine needs these troops for static defense.

Thanks for your reply David. In my view whether attacking or defending, it's literally learn fast or die. At any rate, I am a paid subscriber and very much enjoy and appreciate your posts. I read them every day.
