Unfair Fight! A Ukrainian FP-2 With A 250-Pound Warhead Pulverized A Flimsy Russian MT-LB Vehicle.

FP-2s can't return to base, so you've got to use them or lose them.

Ukraine’s Fire Point FP-2 is a one-way first-person-view attack drone. Lacking landing gear, the ramp-launched drone can’t return to base. Operators must use it or lose it.

And that may explain why, on or just before April 1, an FP-2 pilot from Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces blew up a flimsy Russian MT-LB armored tractor.

The FP-2 packs a 250-pound warhead. Against an MT-LB whose steel armor is just a few millimeters thick on top, an FP-2 is massive overkill. But if the drone is at the edge of its 130-mile range, might as well pulverize an MT-LB and its passengers if the alternative is running out of gas.
